Spanish rock: Sol Lagarto, Revolution69

+ All this comes from the previous post discussion about what is rock or pop. Myself, I don't like to take attitude as a feature to distinguish pop and rock. Also, we should remember that the term pop comes from popular. In any case, we can tell between good music and mainstream, can't we?. In any case, I like pop and rock. Sobre Sol Lagarto, os diré que el 15 de enero estarán tocando en Barcelona, en la sala Bikini, presentando (y vendiendo) su segundo Lp. que, dicho sea de paso, es un trabajo acústico, y se espera la presencia de invitados especiales para el show.
Ante todo, los Lagartos son una banda de directo, de puro directo, con una base rítmica fenomenal, un vocalista de alma negra y un par de guitarristas de la más pura escuela sureña de los Allman Brothers.
Muchos son los conciertos en los que los he visto, y ya no hacen versiones como las de "Blue Sky" de los Allman Brothers o "Whiskey Rock-A-Roller" de Lynyrd Skynyrd, pero ahora sí rememoran el "Sweet Talker" de Whitesnake o el "Soulshine" de Warren Haynes (espectacular la voz de Ramón, el bajista)
Y su disco de debut, Mira Adelante, a la altura de los mejores discos rockeros hechos en este país.
Y no me llevo ninguna comisión, jajajaja.
Por cierto, como bien dices, ojo a The Midnight Travellers!!!! Grandes, grandes, grandes.
Lo traduciría si tuviera tiempo, pero de eso me falta!
