Estrenamos el año con un caspafilm reciente. Se trata de LA CASA DE LOS 1000 CADAVERES el debut en el cine del maestro del shock rock, Rob Zombie. Una pelicula impactacte y divertida llena de personajes a cual mas raro y un monton de litros de sangre.



La historia es un topicazo en estas peliculas, porque todo comienza en una noche de Hallowen de 1977. Un contratiempo en el coche (un pinchazo, como no) obliga a Jerry, Denise, Mary y Bill a pararse en una gasolinera de una carretera secundaria. No es una gasolinera cualquiera, esta dirigida por el capitan Spaulding quien ademas es el propietario del museo de monstruos y locos. Despues de enterarse de las historias y azañas de algunos de los principales asesinos en serie, Bill convence a sus amigos para investigar un poco mas la historia del Dr. Satan. En plena noche y en medio de la lluvia, conoceran a una extraña y peculiar familia...



Como ya he dicho antes, LA CASA DE LOS 1000 CADAVERES, es el debut como director de Rob Zombie, un controvertido rockero que lleva 13 años labrando una extraña leyenda musical. Empezo en 1985 con la formacion de su banda de superestrellas del shock metal, White Zombie. Este exito dio cancha a Rob Zombie para explorar otras posobilidades.



Primero fue un duo con su idolo de la infancia, Alice Cooper, para la banda sonora de la serie EXPEDIENTE X. Tambien hizo sus pinitos en la animacion, colaborando en la creacion de una secuencia alucinatoria para el film Beavis & Butt-Head do Ameria. Poco despues fundo su sello Zombie - a-go-go Records. Mientras arropaba a otros grupos y remezclaba versiones de bandas sonoras, Zombie decidio ampliar horizontes: Queria escribir y dirigir un film, asi comenzo todo.



Un tipo asi no podia hacer un drama pastelero, y gracias a esto nos regalo esta obra sangrienta, divertida y muy caspa.
