Humility means to understand the self and through that to understand others as well. Humility is the attitude where a person is not attached to his or her opinion and feelings. Humility is the most natural expression of truth. It helps in better understanding of truth. Humility is the basis for maintaining self-respect. Humility does not mean bowing down and being subservient to others. Humility allows you to see benefit in everything. Developing humility brings a lot of comfort and ease into your life.
La humildad implica entenderse a sí mismo y, por ello mismo, entender también a los demás. La humildad es la actitud por la cual una persona no está atada a sus opiniones y sensaciones. Parece que sólo pongo las cosas tristes o problemáticas en las que me veo envuelto. Va a parecer que soy un amargado! (No es agradable aunque realmente se sea.) Supongo que tiene su lógica, ya que cuando las cosas van bien uno es expansivo, y cuando no, uno se retrae a sus sitios. Pero también tiene su ilógica, ya que cuando uno es feliz debería expresarlo más que cuando uno no lo es; al recordar uno revive de alguna manera aquello, y si se trata de homenajearlo mediante un post, tanto mejor. Pero, bueno, debería... debería... debería... nada de eso!
En fin, decir que no soy un amargado, como don Quintín, sino que hago las cosas a mi manera y eso a veces genera desfases, contrastes, contradicciones, etc. Pero al final todo está bien, vale la pena. No hay que obsesionarse, más bien todo lo contrario, aligerar las cosas y esperar lo mejor. A ser posible trabajando por ello. mmmmmh Yes! digo...¡Sí! ¡Eso es! ... (?)... creo.
La canción que puse la canta Kate Bush. Una canción suya que es interesante es Babooshka. Se puede ver en YouTube.com (en varias versiones). Trata de una mujer que envía cartas a su marido para ver si es realmente fiel, y él las responde porque le recuerda cómo era ella antes de casarse. That's life! Por otra parte es increíble la cantidad de vídeos que hay en YouTube: de Kate Bush hay, cuando hice la búsqueda, 443 (tb se cuentan las versiones caseras et aliter). Uno muy sensual es el de "Eat the music". Bueno, al final un par de vídeos (cuatro en realidad) he tenido que poner... no quiero abusar. :)
