Airbus Industrie sustituyó las primeras dos aeronaves Super Guppy en 1996. El tercer Super Guppy permaneció en servicio hasta finales de Octubre de 1997 y fue retirado pasando a ser expuesto en el nuevo museo en la planta de EADS Airbus GmbH en Hamburgo-Finkenwerder. En la actualidad es propiedad de EADS Airbus GmbH. La cuarta aeronave fue vendida a la Nasa y todavía se encuentra en servicio
Airbus Industrie substituted the first two Super aircraft Guppy in 1996. The third Super Guppy stayed in service final until of October of 1997 and it was withdrawn becoming exposed in the new museum in the plant of EADS Airbus GmbH in Hamburgo -Finkenwerder. At present it is property of EADS Airbus GmbH. The fourth aircraft was sold to the Nasa and still is found in service.
