Dialogues of Pulp Fiction
Me bajé la banda sonora de Pulf Fiction (esta bastante guay), y allí entre canción y canción aparecen trozos de dialogos de la pelicula. Hay varios que me gustan mucho, y los pongo en este artículo.
* El primero es entre John Travolta (Vincent Vega) y Samuel L Jackson (Jules Winnfield). Vincent acaba de regresar de un recorrido por Europa de 3 años, para situaros mejor son discipulos de mafiosos y van en coche. Es realmente bueno.
JULES: - Ok, so, tell me getting about the "place"
VINCENT: - Ok, what you wanna know?
JULES: - Hash is legal there, right?
VINCENT: - Aha, is legal but in "shop" selling, it's ilegal to walking to a... restaurant, roll the join, start parfume away. It mean they want you to smoke in your home and certain does in any places.
JULES: - Nose the "best" one.
VINCENT: - Yes, based on like this, ok, yes, is legal to buy it, is legal to own it, and if you prepared on a hash box is legal to sell it, is legal to carry it, but it don't mind, it just... get law on this, all right. If you get stoppedd by a cop on Amsterdam it's ilegal for them a searching. I am an answer right the cop sargent don't have.
JULES: - Ohh men, I' m going. That's "good" too. I I'm fucking going
VINCENT: - No baby, you take it the most.
VINCENT: - But you know the funny seen about europeans?
JULES: - What?
VINCENT: - It's little diferences. How many we got the same share overthere we got here, but...just, just there is a little different.

VINCENT: - Ahhh.. when you can walking to a movie theatre in Amsterdam an buy a beer and all mean just like no paper cup and talke a glass beer. And in Paris, you can buy a beer in McDonalds.
And you know what they call a Quarter Pound with cheese?
JULES - They don't call a Quarter Pund with cheese?
VINCENT- No, they got the metric sistem, they "don't know" what a fucking quarter is.
JULES: - And what do they call it?
VINCENT:- They call it Royal with cheese.
JULES: - Royal with cheese?
VINCENT: - That's right.
JULES: - What do they call a Big Mac?
VINCENT: - Big Mac is a Big Mac but they call Le Big Mac.
JULES: - Le Big Mac (con pronunciación francesa), hahaha.
JULES: - What do they call a Wap?
VINCENT: - I don't know, I didn't go on a Burger King.
VINCENT: - You know what they put on french fries and "salads" also the ketchup.
JULES: - What?
VINCENT: - Mayonnaise.
JULES: - Aghhh
VINCENT: - I see it doing men, fucking germs, shit.
JULES: - Aghhhhhh
*El segundo dialogo es muy corto pero me gusta, es entre Bruce Willis (Butch Coolidge) y su mujer Maria de Medeiros (Fabienne). Butch viene de matar a varios tipos en un lio importante y regresa a casa con una moto robada para irse para siempre con su mujer. Me gusta la voz de inocencia de Fabienne y lo chulito que es Butch.
FABIENNE: - Whose a motorcycle is this?
BUTCH: - It's a Chopper baby.
FABIENNE: - Who's Chopper is this?
BUTCH: - Zed
FABIENNE: Who's Zed?
BUTCH: - Zed is dead baby, Zed is dead.
Se entiende que Chopper es la clase de moto, y Zed es uno de los que se acaba de cargar.
* No acabaré esto sin destacar los dialogos entre Uma Thurman (Mia Wallace) y John Travolta (Vincent Vega); y también los de la habitación con Fabienne y Butch. Os recomiendo que os mireis la pelicula y que os bajesis la banda sonora.
IMPORTANTE: la transcripción del dialogo ha sido hecha por mi mientras escuchaba el dialogo (varias veces), así que las palabras que aparecen entre comillas son palabras que he sido incapaz de traducir, y he puesto alguna que concordara y que además me parece que algunas de ellas lo pronuncian.
Si hay errores de gramatica, o lo que sea, pues..mmm... I'm sorry :P

work, criticisms, political aspirations. But you couldn't tell me what it smells
like in the Sistine Chapel. You've never stood there and looked up at
that beautiful ceiling. And if I asked you about women I'm sure you could
give me a syllabus of your personal favorites, and maybe you've been laid
a few times too. But you couldn't tell me how it feels to wake up next
to a woman and be truly happy. If I asked you about war you could refer me
to a bevy of fictional and non-fictional material, but you've never been in
one. You've never held your best friend's head in your lap and watched
him draw his last breath, looking to you for help. And if I asked you about
love I'd get a sonnet, but you've never looked at a woman and been truly
vulnerable. Known that someone could kill you with a look. That someone
could rescue you from grief. That God had put an angel on Earth
just for you. And you wouldn't know how it felt to be her angel. To have
the love be there for her forever. Through anything, through cancer. You
wouldn't know about sleeping sitting up in a hospital room for two months
holding her hand and not leaving because the doctors could see in your eyes
that the term "visiting hours" didn't apply to you. And you wouldn't know
about real loss, because that only occurs when you lose something you

I look at you and I don't see an intelligent confident man, I don't see
a peer, and I don't see my equal. I see a boy. Nobody could possibly understand you, right Will? Yet you presume to know so much about me because of a painting you saw. You must know everything about me. You're an orphan, right?

because I read "Oliver Twist?" And I don't buy the argument that you don't want to be here, because I think you like all the attention you're getting. Personally, I don't care. There's nothing you can tell me that I can't read somewhere else. Unless we talk about your life. But you won't do
that. Maybe you're afraid of what you might say.

me meti en tu blog por el google. resulta qu da la casualidad que para traduccion estoy haciendo un trabajo sobre la secuencia de las hamburguesas de pulp fiction, muy completo y tal con referencias culturales, pragmatica etc etc, asi que si te interesa la transcripcion te la puedo pasar. De todas maneras no es raro que hayas tenid problemas al entenderlo, jules habla... digamos que... no muy claro jajajaa
