Only two weeks left
Sorry, that I haven't written anything for two weeks, but I have not enough time to do everything I want to do. And now, I'm waiting for the end of the cooking, so I have a little time to write something. The most important and exciting event which has occured since last time is that the whole city is snow-covered. It is not very high, but the streets are all painted in white. It's exciting to ride a bike over the snow. Moreover, the tires are not prepared for the snow and are completely flat. By the moment I haven't fallen any time, but we'll see how I finish the night, because today there is a big party in the Mensarestaurant to celebrate Carnivals (maybe it has another word, but you understand me "Carnavales"), and the return I think it will be 'interesting'. I haven't got the disguise yet, I must go this afternoon. I don't if I will find something that I like, because my friends here, they want to put on a disguise of bitch, and I have always hated this costume. We'll see.
So, I will tell you how it was, and maybe put some fotos in here (only to laugh a little, jeje).
See you.

BACK FROM... VIENNA
Yes, I am another time back from another beautiful city. This time was the turn of Vienna (I'm not sure if in English it is written so, but you understand me, I hope). The destination of this trip was changed in the last minute. We wanted to go to Praha, we had the reservation of the hotel and the rental car, we had changed money into crowns (you know that the Czech Republich has just entered in the European Union and it hasn't changed its currency to euro),.. everything prepared. But when we read the hire conditions, we saw in one page a map of Europe, and all the East part was painted in red. The legend said (I've just copied what it was written): " Countries in Red as well as all areas situated further eastward/southward prohibited for all vehicles". But this wasn't the only thing which frightened us. In the lower part we read that the police or custom officers have the right to confiscate the car and take it to a safety place if we cross or try to cross the custom. All these conditions frightened us and we decided to change our destination. But I'm very glad with what we have done. First the car was an incredible machine. For those who are experts on cars, the car was a Volkswagen Golf 1.9 TDI. This car has realized my dreams (exagerated). I have never seen the sixt gear, I have never driven more than from my village to the town (18km), I have never driven over 160km/h,... and with this car I've driven 580km, over 175km/h (you know there isn'n any speed limit in the german highways), and never used the sixt gear (it is set like the reverse gear of my father's car, and the first time I had fear to destroy awfully the car, jeje). Well, the way to Vienna was very easy to find, as well as the youth hostal in which we spendt the night. It was incredible cheap. For one night in Vienna, only 15.2 € , with breakfast (eat-all-you-can) included. So, we arrived at 13:15 after 5 hours of voyage, with two stops (we carried two girls, you know). After cheking in the youth hostal we went to the Schönbrunn castle. Here some photos of it.

Castle Schönbrunn.

Backside of the castle.

Castle Schönbrunn.

Gloriette.

Large view of the field.
It is like a big "Viveros" (for the people of Valencia), a big "El Retiro" (for those of Madrid and suburbs). It is vastly inmense. In the third photo you can imagine how big is this park. And the size of the castle shows you the power emperor Elizabeth (Sisi) had got at that time. The interior of the castle is also wonderful. It's like the movies of classic ages shows, with rooms full embellished, all luxus ever imagined.. worth to admire. The visit to the castle and the park took us the whole day, better said, the whole "lightday". At four o'clock the darkness invaded us and we turned back to the youth hostal to take a little rest. We were extremely tired and we knew that the next day would be a hard one. In the night we went to the downtown to have dinner. We entered in a restaurant specialized in duck and chicken. We eat as much as we can for only 6 €. I'm satisfied with all the decissions we took. I think we went to the cheapeast places of Vienna unconciously. On the next day we took a long passage through the downtown, taking photos of every building we found interested. So, I have some more photos for your eyes.

Hofburg.

A museum (I don't remember how it was called).

St. Stephan's church.

Me in front of St. Stephan.

The Vienna big wheel.
And nothing more to say. The photos are completely explicit. Vienna is very beautiful and I recommend to visit it if you have the opportunity.
See you.
PD: I hope that there isn't any problem if I continue writing in English. I don't know how much long it will take to change to Spanish, but for the moment I am satisfied with myself, and it's important in these days.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
No, you are not reading a wrong blog. This is one of proposes for the new year: I will write my commentars in English. When I decided to come to Germany, I thought it could be a great idea if I write my e-mails in English. Since now it wasn't possible. And now, you know that with the beginning of a new year, people make their (im)possible proposes, like to stop smoking, to go the gym,... My desires are to use my condition of Erasmus student as much as possible, and one thing is to improve my foreign languages. I know that it's difficult, but I'll try to do it so. You will laugh with many of my poor expressions, but I don't know more. I will very pleased if someone answers my commentars with a correction of all mistakes I do. It is nearly impossible to write in a perfect English. So, don't frighten if you find in my blog other language instead of Spanish.
Well, I have to tell you what i have done in the last day of year 2004. First to say that I came back to Erlangen last Thursday (30). The flight was a little boring, and then I had to take a train from Stuttgart (where the airplane landed) to Nurnberg. There I had to wait half an hour for the next train to Erlangen. As you see, my return was a little interesting... The next day I went to Munich to pass New Year's Eve (that's what I've found for 'Nochevieja'...). It was a different style of celebrating this fest. At the time of the twelve bell strokes, all the people go in the street and switch on thousends of firecrackers and flares (but nothing compared with what we live in Valencia in Fallas...). In the way to the pub (I was in 'Enchilada', a german-latin pub) I saw that everyone had bought many large flares. Even in the pub people bought their last flares to burn in the street. It was something special.
The next day I visited the 'castle' of Munich (I write it in ' because it wasn't really a castle, only a big building, very beautiful, but I don't consider it a castle). There is an enormous park where complete families walked tranquilly to receive the new year in pleasant harmony (jeje).

Castle Nymphemberg.
(If you don't see the picture, it's cause of the internet browser).
On Sunday (02.01.05) I traveled to Füssen. The name of this village is not very known, but it is famous for its castles. Well, the castles are really outside the town, they (only two, but they are more than one..) stay on the top of two mountains. One of them was the model for the one Walt Disney painted. It is really wonderful. I recommend you not to waste the opportunity to visit it if you have it. Just to say that I took almost hundred photos of the place, not only of the castles, but also of the lake and the other roustic buildings that decorate the valley. Wonderful, wonderful. Moreover I found the landscape covered with a white mantle of snow, which increases the beauty of scenary.

Castle Neuschwanstein.
(If you don't see the picture, it's cause of the internet browser).
Well, nothing more to say at the moment. I'll try to keep the blog actualized and I hope that this inclination to write in English continous for many time. If you have some problems with the language, demand me to write you the spanish version..
