¿Cómo se mueve Rita Hayworth? Se mueve como un blues bailando salsa, se mueve como un merengue sin hacerse aún, pero es espléndido. Mi madre repitió varias veces durante el film: de padre sevillano y madre irlandesa. Se llama Margarita Carmen Dolores Cansino: parece mentira que tenga un acento tan americano y tan envolvente. Se convirtio en Gilda, se casaría con Orson Welles, sería la protagonista de la bofetada más famosa de la historia. Supongo que nadie podría pronunciar con más sensualidad que ella aquel "Amaro mío"... algo parecido a Doris Day cantando a voz en grito, acompañada de un piano: "¿Qué será, será?". Voces inglesas, o americanas, entonando melodías, o frases españolas. Qué delicia.
